How to Adjust Rotation Direction (New Models Only)
To switch from Left-Hand (CCW) to Right-Hand (CW) rotation:
- Remove the M4 SHCS from the cap and rotate the pump caps 90°.
2. Align the cap notch with:
- “L” on the housing for CCW
- “R” on the housing for CW
3. Timing is critical
- Align the valleys of the piston gears with the cam on the cap.
- Press the piston gear into the housing and rotate slightly until it engages with the worm gear.
4. Top off the oil pump housing with 80W gear lube before installing the caps, if needed.
